ABOUT me
My name is Helen Imogen Field. I am an editor with specific copy editing skills for documents in biology, medicine and related fields, following a mixed career in computing (programming), biology and medicine. I live in Edinburgh and am a freelance copy editor.
My business is new but my editing goes back decades. Always writing, editing and creating clear documentation and records for laboratory work, methods, programs, accreditation and project management. I am a trained project manager who will get work back to you on schedule.
I work in accordance with the code of practice of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
The service is entirely DIGITAL so that you upload documents securely, in recognised file formats. I receive them on-line and securely edit them on an up to date computer system, and return them via Dropbox.
Our communications are by email or telephone.
For complex commissions arrangements can be more flexible.
