I am a technical author and editor of English copy (for UK or in United States English). I have experience with PhD theses, Masters treatises, scientific papers, essays, software documentation (manuals and specifications), laboratory techniques and also reflective accounts.
Harvard referencing, Vancouver, Oxford and other referencing systems are accommodated. I check references for accuracy.
Of course, I proofread and correct English. As a copy editor I may also rephrase to more correct English when this makes sentences clear.
I bring out the most important points in a document.
I am used to working with authors who use English as an additional language.
As a scientific author since 1987, I wrote 12 first author papers accepted by reputable scientific journals, also edited many more.
As a PhD and a Masters student and also as an HNC student, I have written theses, dissertations and other pieces of work, as well as copy editing for other individuals. Reflective accounts are the latest addition to my repertoire.
As a sales and marketing applications specialist I have created beautiful presentations and cleaned up basic slides for consistent, clear presentation on many topics.
As a graphic artist and figure designer I have illustrated concepts to clarify mood and convey essential information. Technical figures include scatter plots, comparative diagrams and other statistical depictions. I follow principles outlined by Tufte.
As a computer programmer I have created documents for teaching software, Software Manuals, on-line documentation, and requirements.
I can convey complex information to new or experienced audiences.
